Suad (Su) Musse
Su completed her Masters of Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2013. She began her career in rural Northern Ontario where she treated clients with a variety of concerns from fractures to shoulder surgeries. This experience propelled her to take a wide range of courses to meet the needs of the community as one of the few physiotherapists in the area.
She has since completed additional training in dry needling, manual therapy, and exercise prescription. Her ultimate goal is to treat the root cause instead of only managing the symptoms. Su is a big believer in evidence based practice where the goal is to use the latest scientific knowledge to get faster and long lasting results.
Su has experienced her own share of injuries and remembers what it was like to be in her clients’ shoes. This is why she aims to recreate the same supportive and knowledgeable environment that inspired her to become a physiotherapist. A typical initial appointment would involve a detailed summary of your injury and a comprehensive physical examination. Your treatment plan will always take your lifestyle and concerns into consideration. Su always wants to make sure that you leave your sessions feeling heard, excited, and empowered.
When she is not treating clients, Su is busy trying as many restaurants in Ottawa as possible. She is always open to suggestions!
