In order to continue serving our clients and community while maintaining a safe environment for all, we have taken certain measures in order to limit the spread of COVID-19 while resuming normal operations.
The following measures have been taken in order to increase our clients' and staff's safety.
- Clients must cancel their appointments and remain home if:
- they are experiencing any symptoms of illness such as a fever, shortness of breath, and/or cough;
- they have recently traveled outside of Canada or the Ottawa area;
- they have recently been in contact with someone who has traveled outside of Canada, the Ottawa area, or is exhibiting any cold or flu-like symptoms as above.
- All clients must wash or sanitize their hands upon entering and again when leaving the clinic.
- Clients must wear a mask to and throughout the duration of their appointments. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you.
- All staff members will be wearing masks.
- We ask that clients do not bring friends or family to their appointment unless necessary. There is a limit of one guest per client if necessary.
- Clients will be directed into a treatment room upon entering the clinic to eliminate time spent in the waiting area.
- A plexiglass barrier has been installed at our front desk.
- We have increased our cleaning and disinfecting efforts throughout clinic.
- All treatment rooms and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every use.
- Our therapists continue to perform proper hand cleaning/sanitizing before and after every session.
- All staff at Function Physiotherapy (physiotherapists and administrative staff) have been fully vaccinated (3 doses) for COVID-19.
We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our measures and protocols as necessary. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
