Brad Lafortune, PT

Owner, Physiotherapist

Brad Lafortune is a registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and the founder of Function Physiotherapy. Brad is committed to providing quality care through an active, hands-on approach to better health.

Brad completed an honours Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Spanish at the University of Ottawa followed by a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.

Brad has worked in various clinical settings, expanding his skillset while focusing on rehabilitation through hands-on treatment techniques and manual therapy. Brad believes hands-on treatment is vital to his clients' efficient recovery. This inspired Brad to start Function Physiotherapy, a clinic where hands-on therapy is at the base of all treatments.

Brad has remained highly involved in the community by volunteering for the University of Ottawa, the Métis Nation of Ontario, and currently sits as a board member of the Aboriginal Education Committee of La Cité collégiale.

Brad has a life-long commitment to continuing education in order to provide high quality services to all his clients. He has completed a number of courses in a variety of fields in order to best provide for a number of conditions.

Brad likes to stay active by running and enjoys playing tennis and volleyball. Gatineau Park is one of his favourite places to hike and explore. During the winter, Brad enjoys downhill skiing and skating.
